Aspects' Peanut Silo is a "selective feeder" - acrobatic birds such as woodpeckers, chickadees, titmice, nuthatches, and finches can cling to the stainless steel wire mesh tube. Protective polycarbonate collars at the top and base of the feeder keep the .25" wire mesh true to form and cover any sharp edges. The built-in seed deflector in the base allows birds to remove every last seed. The mesh design and drainage holes in the feeder base keep the seed fresh and dry. The solid metal cap slides up the hanger for quick, convenient cleaning and filling.
