The Season's Tweeting Birdhouse rings in all four holiday seasons.  This cottage style bird house comes equipped with four interchangeable, seasonal decorations; an American Flag for Summer/4th of July, Jack-O-Lantern for Fall/Halloween, Christmas Tree for Winter/Christmas and, a miniature birdhouse for Spring/Easter.  The classic white color and natural wood shingles create a stunning look on the item. Gingerbread detailing along the roof line offers a realistic feel, and faux windows and doors complete the effect. A small hole near the front of the home creates a place to secure the included seasonal adornments, keeping this home decorated timely.  A 1.25" diameter entrance hole rests on the front of the house, allowing wrens, chickadees and others to use the roost. The large panel on the back makes nest checks and cleaning simple, and the attached hanging tab enables the house to be tree or post mounted easily. A drainage hole on the base keeps nests dry, while three ventilation holes on each side of the house keep the interior temperature regulated.

Please Note: This bird house is designed for outdoor use and is as functional as it is decorative. With time, this product will need to be refinished when left outdoors. The shingle (cedar) will patina to a silvery color and the piece will become weathered and distressed, but continue to maintain its functionality. Should you wish to preserve the finish, you should use a polyurethane product that is recommended for marine use (UV Rated) that will not turn white paint yellow. Polyurethane should only be used on the exterior of the bird house - the interior should be left unfinished.
